Construction

10 gauge 309 Stainless Steel chamber with 24 individual 1 x 3 inch (25.4 x 76.2 cm) grates. Heavy duty external steel frame.

Front load through swing open doors for easy access and loading. The doors are large - 4 ft x 8 ft (1.21 m x 2.42 m) - and the two parts swing open for full access to the hopper and grate area. A heavy duty latch in the center of the doors holds the top and bottom of the doors. The doors are sealed with a high temperature fiberglass seal.

Model 7248-2

10 Gauge 309 stainless steel and 11 gauge 2"x2" square tube frame, a stainless steel chimney, steel down draft cap. Front load through swing up door. Cast iron incinerator grates. Two Beckett burners, located on the left and right sides, provide the high heat. An sliding ash tray is located beneath the incinerator chamber.

Operation

The operation is started by filling the hopper through the front doors and closing the doors.  Then momentary start button is pressed.  This will start the burners for an adjustable amount of time. After the burn time has been reached the cool down timer will begin running for a preset time.  

Burners

4 high-impact Beckett burners with 2.5 gal/hr nozzle (9.47 liter). Specially designed for accurate burn temperature. The burners with the injected air are very effective to reduce the volume by approximately 90% to a dry powdery ash. We know of no other unit that has less powdery ash for the product being cremated than the Phoenix animal incinerator.  Temperatures can reach 1600° F (870° C) in the chamber with a 1250° F (675° C) chimney temperature to reduce smoke. 

Air induction

4 silent centrifugal air induction blowers for employee comfort.  

Timers

There are two (2) timer controls that will accurately control burn time and cool down time.   THE COOL DOWN TIMERS/SYSTEM GREATLY BENEFIT THE BUYER FOR QUICK REMOVAL OF ASHES AT LOWER TEMPERATURES AND FASTER TURNOVER OF MATERIAL.  

Chimneys

Two 10 inch x 6 foot (25.4 cm x 7.76 meters) chimneys.  Our special chimneys have stainless steel downdraft caps. 

Smoke Density

The high operating temperatures, quick cool-down and special chimneys result in low smoke density. 

Warranty

One-year warranty from date of purchase on materials, including burner, fan, timers, controls, and shell.

Installation

Units are basically shipped complete, ready for operation.

A very important feature of our unit, it is complete, all units are tested extensively before shipment to insure workability and performance upon receipt. Plug in the unit, hook it up to a fuel supply and it will be ready for use.  

We recommend that ALL Phoenix incinerators be installed outdoors following all local codes, laws, and ordinances. The customer is responsible for installation, fuel supply, and meeting of local laws and requirements.

Packing

Each incinerator is built on metal skid that can be moved with large forklift.
Extra parts that are ordered will be crated in virgin cottonwood crate and cardboard inside the incinerator so one set of parts will automatically go with each unit.

Support

An Operation Manual in English is available. The units perform for many years with proper service and proper maintenance.  Generally, after-sales-service contract is not necessary.  However one will be provided should it be required.

Options  

A special burning hopper inside the incinerator to aid in burning the feathers off poultry carcasses. This burning hopper helps to reduce the overall burn time and to reduce the volume of remains. This special burning hopper is highly recommended for all poultry disposal applications.
